Liquidator guide
How Early Bird Passes work for liquidators
Early Bird Passes help you manage the first wave of shoppers without turning the sale into private appointments. You choose which sale days offer early entry, how many people can reserve, and what shoppers should do when they arrive.
Select sale days
Early Bird windows are tied to your sale schedule. Turn it on only for the days where early entry makes sense.
Capacity counts people
Capacity is the total number of people admitted for that window, not the number of reservations.
Max party limits groups
Max party controls how many people one shopper can reserve for. The default is 2, and you can lower or raise it per window.
Liquidator workflow
- 1. Add your sale schedule. Early Bird windows use the dates and public hours already on the listing.
- 2. Enable the days that need early entry. Each selected day gets its own window, capacity, and party limit.
- 3. Write arrival instructions. Tell pass holders where to line up, when to arrive, and what rules still apply.
- 4. Manage the roster on sale day. Use the Early Bird roster to check shoppers in, mark no-shows, cancel reservations, or print a backup list.
What shoppers see
Shoppers reserve a spot from the public sale page. After reserving, they can open a printable pass, email the pass to themselves, or cancel if their plans change. In the iOS app, active passes also appear in Saved under the Passes segment, where shoppers can open the native pass and email it again. The pass reserves entry only; it does not hold merchandise or guarantee item availability.
