Basics

Getting Started

Use these answers if you are new to SaleRadar or trying to decide whether you need an account.

What is SaleRadar?

SaleRadar helps shoppers discover estate sales and helps liquidators list, promote, and manage sales. Shoppers can browse the map, compare sale pages, filter by category and timing, and decide which sales are worth the trip. Liquidators can create polished listings, add photos, publish sales, and manage their public company presence.

Do I need an account to browse sales?

No. You can browse the map, view sale pages, review photos, and get directions without signing in. You need an account for saved sales, followed liquidators, going status, alerts, and liquidator listing tools.

Is SaleRadar free?

SaleRadar is free for shoppers. Liquidators can use the free plan for basic listing visibility, with 2 active listings at a time and up to 50 photos per sale. Accounts with Premium access can have up to 500 photos per sale.

Is there a mobile app?

SaleRadar is available on the web and as a shopper-focused iOS app. The iOS app can browse sales, use Radar, save sales, mark sales as going, follow liquidators, view photos, get directions, and schedule on-device reminders for saved sales. This support page is the canonical help center for both website and iOS app questions.

Buyers and browsers

For Shoppers

Find promising sales faster, compare the details that matter, and save the ones you want to revisit.

How do I find estate sales near me?

Open the map, search by city, ZIP, address, or neighborhood, then pan and zoom to explore. Use filters for date, category, distance, and map area when you want to narrow the results.

What is on a sale detail page?

Sale pages can include a photo gallery, address, dates and times, description, categories, keywords, visit notes, company information, map location, directions, saved status, going count, and nearby sales.

How do saved sales and follows work?

Signed-in shoppers can save sales, follow liquidators, and mark that they are going. These actions help you keep track of sales and help SaleRadar understand which listings shoppers care about.

How do alerts work?

The website can store preferences for opted-in alert emails as those email programs roll out. The current iOS app separately offers on-device reminders before saved sales open or end; it does not currently deliver nearby-sale or followed-liquidator push alerts.

Why can I still see an ended sale?

Sale pages may remain available after a sale ends so links keep working and shoppers can see what was offered. Ended or expired sales should be labeled clearly and should not appear as active sales in normal browsing.

Mobile app

SaleRadar iOS App

Use these answers for the shopper-focused SaleRadar iOS app. The app support button links back to this page so web and app help stay in one place.

What can I do in the iOS app?

The SaleRadar iOS app is built for shoppers. You can browse estate sales, use Radar to find nearby sales, save sales, mark yourself as going, follow liquidators, view photos, get directions, and schedule optional reminders before saved sales open or end.

What is Radar?

Radar helps you quickly find promising estate sales near you. Open the Radar tab to see nearby sales ranked by distance, timing, and relevance. You can use your current location or search a city, ZIP code, or address.

Why does SaleRadar ask for my location?

Location helps SaleRadar show nearby sales and power Radar. You can still browse sales without sharing your current location by searching or selecting a location manually.

How do saved sales work?

Tap Save on a sale to keep it in your Saved tab. You need to be signed in with Google or Apple to save sales across devices.

What does "I'm Going" mean in the app?

I'm Going lets you track sales you plan to attend and contributes to the public going count for that sale.

How do I follow a liquidator?

Open a liquidator profile in the app and tap Follow Liquidator. Following a liquidator helps you keep track of companies you care about.

How do alerts work in the iOS app?

The current iOS app offers optional reminders before sales you save open or end. They are scheduled locally on that device, require notification permission, and are not nearby-sale, followed-liquidator, or product-update push alerts.

How do I sign in to the iOS app?

Use Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google. SaleRadar does not use separate email-and-password accounts in the iOS app.

I cannot see sales near me. What should I try?

SaleRadar is built as a national marketplace, but available listings depend on where liquidators have published sales. Try searching a nearby city, clear filters, widen your radius, or check again later as new sales are added.

The map or Radar is not showing my location.

Check that location access is enabled for SaleRadar in iOS Settings. You can also search a city, ZIP code, or address manually if you do not want to share your current location.

How do I get support for the iOS app?

Use the buyer and browser support form on this page and include what you were trying to do, your device model, your iOS version, and a screenshot if possible. You can also email support@saleradar.app.

Estate sale companies

For Liquidators

Create listings that shoppers can trust and manage the operational details from the company portal.

How do I list an estate sale?

Create or sign in to a liquidator account, open the dashboard, choose a new listing, add the title, description, sale schedule, address, categories, photos, visit notes, and logistics, then save as draft or publish when ready.

Which listing details matter most?

Strong listings usually have a clear title, accurate dates, a verified address, representative photos, useful categories, specific keywords, and practical visit notes such as parking, pickup, or access details.

Can I edit a sale after publishing?

Yes. Drafts can be edited freely. Published listings can be updated or cancelled. Cancelled listings can be moved back to draft when appropriate. Expired listings should generally be replaced with a new listing rather than republished.

What analytics do liquidators get?

The dashboard surfaces shopper activity such as views, going activity, direction clicks, saves, follows, and recent momentum where available. These signals help identify which listings are drawing attention and which may need stronger photos or details.

How should I manage service areas?

Use service areas that represent real cities, metros, or markets you regularly serve. Accurate service areas help families find the right company and help SaleRadar avoid messy free-form location data.

Access

Accounts and Sign-In

Most account issues come down to using the right sign-in method or the right account type.

How do I sign in?

SaleRadar supports Google and Apple sign-in. Liquidators may also request a secure email sign-in link. Use the same provider and email each time so your saved sales, company profile, listings, and subscription stay connected to the right account.

What is the difference between a shopper and liquidator account?

A shopper account is for browsing, saving, following, and alerts. A liquidator account is for creating and managing sale listings and a public company profile. If you signed in as the wrong account type, contact support and include the email you used.

What should I do if I accidentally created two accounts?

Do not delete either account or send anyone your password or sign-in link. Choose the sign-in, email, or duplicate account topic in the support form. If possible, include both email addresses and tell us whether you can access both accounts. SaleRadar will verify ownership before making changes.

Why did I get redirected from the liquidator portal?

The liquidator portal is only available to company accounts. Shopper accounts may be redirected back to public pages. Use the liquidator sign-in or sign-up flow when you need listing tools.

How do I delete my account or data?

Use the support form and choose the account topic. Include the email associated with your account and describe what you want removed. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, or sensitive documents.

Plans

Premium and Billing

Premium is for liquidators who need more reach, more photos, and fewer listing limits.

What is SaleRadar Premium?

Premium gives liquidators stronger listing tools, including unlimited active listings, higher photo capacity, full analytics, and additional dashboard capabilities. New liquidator accounts start with a 14-day Premium trial. After the trial, accounts stay on the free plan unless they subscribe.

How much does Premium cost?

Premium is listed at $29 per month or $290 per year. Prices and plan details shown in the subscription page are the source of truth if they change later.

How do I upgrade or manage billing?

Open Subscription Management from the company portal. Upgrades use Stripe Checkout. Existing subscribers can open the Stripe Customer Portal to update payment methods, view invoices, change plans, or cancel.

I upgraded but my account still looks free. What should I do?

Open Subscription Management and refresh your subscription status, then reload the page. If it still looks wrong, contact support with the email on the account and the approximate time of payment.

Is my payment information secure?

Payments are handled by Stripe. SaleRadar does not store your full card number. Never send full card details through the support form or by email.

Listing quality

Photos and Listings

Photos and structured listing details are often the difference between a quick glance and a planned visit.

How many photos can I upload?

Free company accounts can upload up to 50 photos per sale. Accounts with Premium access can upload up to 500 photos per sale.

How many Listing Assistant drafts are included?

Free liquidator accounts include 5 Listing Assistant drafts each month. Premium and Premium trial accounts include 100 each month. A draft counts only when the Listing Assistant successfully creates suggestions; failed attempts do not count. The allowance resets at the start of each calendar month.

How many promotion kits are included?

Free liquidator accounts include 2 promotion kits each month. Premium and Premium trial accounts include 30. One kit creates editable copy for Facebook, Instagram, X, email, and a Quick post. Editing, copying, saving, and downloading branded graphics do not use another kit.

What photo requirements should I know?

Use standard image formats such as JPG or PNG, keep files under the current upload limit, and avoid blurry images, private documents, faces, license plates, or sensitive personal information. Lead with the strongest room or item photo.

A photo failed to upload. What should I try?

Check the file size, confirm it is a standard image format, retry the failed photo, and make sure your connection is stable. If the same file keeps failing, try exporting or compressing it and upload again.

The map pin is wrong. Can I fix it?

Yes. SaleRadar requires a verified address so listings can appear correctly on the map. If the suggested location looks wrong, edit the address and select the best verified suggestion again, or contact support before publishing.

Which categories are supported?

Current categories include Antiques & Collectibles, Art & Paintings, Books & Magazines, Clothing, Electronics, Furniture, Home Decor, Jewelry & Watches, Kitchenware & Appliances, Musical Instruments, Sporting Goods, Tools & Hardware, Toys & Games, and Vintage & Retro.

Fixes

Troubleshooting

Try these checks before contacting support. They solve many common browsing and listing problems.

The map is not loading or no sales appear.

Refresh the page, check your connection, clear category/date/distance filters, zoom out, or search a broader city or ZIP. If no listings are active in that market yet, the map may be empty until liquidators publish sales there.

I see no estate sales found.

That usually means no sale matches the current map view or filters. Remove filters, widen the date range, search a nearby city, or browse the full map.

Something looks broken or I hit an error.

Refresh the page and try again. If it continues, contact support with what you were trying to do, the page URL, your account email if signed in, and a screenshot if you have one.

How do I report spam or an inappropriate listing?

Use the buyer support form and choose the sale correction or other topic. Include the listing URL and a short explanation so the team can review it quickly.
